Skoda With Air Conditioning Or Any Cars To That Matter?

I have always known that if you use your air con regularly then it will affect fuel economy.

Now someone told me recently that it does not affect the fuel economy-if it does it could mean losing a one or two miles per tankfull.

What is the truth about this?

Any answers appreciated|||Will not affect it a signigficant amount|||Two schools of thought on that one.

First is that windows open, AC off will disrupt airflow of car creating drag thus lowering mileage.

Second is that will not affect mileage, rather the extra strain fro AC will decrease engine performance.

You can settle the arguement for yourself. Drive two tanks of fuel out without using AC and then two with using AC, and compare the difference in mileage.

To me it really wouldn't matter. If I'm hot, I'm gonna run the AC.|||if you drive with windows open the buffeting lowers the mileage the same as using AC..YOou paid 1200 dollars for AC ,, Are you going to suffer in the hear for 1 mpg? not me

The front anti roll bars on my Skoda Fabia need replacing, what are they and how much should it cost?

Dealer has quoted just short of 拢200 (UK).|||that sound a bit extreme. can't think it'll be the actual bars that need replacing. Maybe the anti roll bar bushes will need replacing as they do wear with age, not familiar with your model so can't be certain.

It 's a part of the car that helps keep the alignment of your car true and ensures minimal roll when cornering etc.

get another quote elsewhere it costs nothing for a second oppinion. main dealers are always more expensive, maybe try a local garage thats not a main dealer, their labours cheaper. if your a bit of a diy man, buy a haynes manual 拢15 and do it yourself. they're not to difficult if you have a socket set, you,ll need to put your car on blocks and let the front suspension hang free. good luck|||look on the net thats your best bet you will find a big drop in what you are being charged|||The anti roll bars will not need replacing unless the car has been involved in an accident. They are their to steady the roll of the car when cornering. They are attached to the car by rubber bushes and it is these that need replacing.A good DIY man can do this quiteeasily for around say 25pounds.I have encountered the same problem with this model before and on investigation the dealer was simply trying it on.|||never heard of a Skoda are they any good?|||in gotta admire yr bravery admiting u got a skoda fabia, if i had one of those id leave it down aldis car park wheres it more at home|||I would just get another car!!!! :o)|||take it you mean the roll bar drop links, then about 1 hour labour for the pair plus parts, but certainly less than your quote

How does Honda Accord compare to Skoda Superb for (a) comfort (b) solidness of build (c) engine performance?

Engine Performance ::: Accord %26gt;%26gt;%26gt; Skoda Superb

Comfort Level:::: Skoda Superb %26gt;%26gt;%26gt; Accord

Solidness of Build::: Accord %26gt;%26gt;%26gt; Skoda Superb

Maintenance Cost::: Accord %26gt;%26gt;%26gt; Skoda Superb

Very close call... But, I would still say if you are in India, then opt for Honda Accord, since it has a better service network and cost of maintenance is little lower than Skoda Superb... Further, it is better built than Skoda Superb in many ways...|||hey!

both cars are almost at par

but i will give edge to superb|||Both the cars you have picked are great and are quite similar in terms of performance and features. The mileage and engine performance of both Accord and Superb are great and very comparable. There is only a minor difference that Superb gives the option of leather seats, while Accord does not. Apart from that, you can compare the cars on the following features:

http://www.cardekho.com/compare-2car/Hon鈥?/a>|||well,the superb has more features and is more comfy(in fact, the goodies are of the kind you'd expect in a 40 lakh car!).secondly, the build quality of Japanese automakers(like honda) is unrivaled, even among their german counterparts(read=skoda).for engine performance, the accord wins any day.however,i wud suggest having a look at the nissan teana as well(even if they have only 5 showrooms in India)|||both the cars are

good

but for all the points you have mentioned above according to me Skoda superb scores more than Honda Accord

but Where Honda Accord Scores more ON Superb

1 st of all Honda Accord looks more stylish than that of superb

then Accord have a nice aftr sales service n/w than Skoda

so overalll if you want a car for all points mentioned ab0ve then only go in for Skoda Superb

otherwise overall i guess you must Go for Honda Accord..

not so bad car...

Can anyone tell me the position of a couple of fuses on a P reg Skoda Felicia ?

Didn't get a handbook when I bought the car, and over the last 2 days both the horn and the heater have stopped working. Am assuming its either fuses or a wiring problem. Will be buying a haynes manual at the weekend, but any help in the meantime would be greatly appreciated ! :-)|||Hello,

assume you have twin fast-on connector fuses in your Felicia.

You don't have to know which fuse protects which component.

When a fuse is blown, you should replace it with a new of the same current rating. Fuses are color-coded and there's a piece of wire in them. This wire burns due to a current above the rating, which could happen eg. during a schort-circuit. Some frequent codes:

BROWN-7 A (Amper) , RED-10 A, BLUE-15A, YELLOW-20A, GREEN-30A.

All you have to do is to check all your fuses. With the car powered off, pull each of your fuses out one-by-one and see if the wire inside is burnt (you can't miss it, in this case the whole plastic casing is burnt :D) replace it with the same rating (-%26gt; color). I suggest you to check all fuses, it's not an unknown phenomenon to buy a used car, replace some fuses and long-meant-to-be-dead subsystems come back to life :D and older fuses are more prone to blow below the nominal rating due to ageing.

And by the way, I have a Skoda too :D, a '89 Skoda 120 (former east-Europian rear-engined car, model was known as "Estelle" in west-Europe) and she newer let me down. No one can show me a better car for 200 USD :D !!!

It DOES worth :D !!!|||Man, I gotta know -- did you actually PAY for a Skoda?|||There under the Passengers side|||what the hell ive never hard of that kind of car|||Just look 4 the fuse panel, located somewhere under the steering rack probably, and pull your fuses out 1 at a time to see iff they've gone!!!|||dont waste money putting new fuses in, be worth more than the car!

Who remembers the Skoda Estelle, and recalls its faults & foible's?

I loved mine, despite things dropping off, window mechanism collapsing, the dreaded starter motor/alternator, the galloping rust... I just loved it!|||I certainly remember the car. It seemed quite stylish for a Skoda at that time. The name was its best asset. It was a star!|||i remember those and the fun i had taking the p*ss out of one of my neighbours for owning one, oh how i miss those days.|||My BIL bought one brand new but he had to trade it in because none of his family (especially his teenage kids)would go out in it in case the neighbours saw them.|||I remember my son having one. Skoda Brakes don't work at stop and go traffic?

My Skoda Octavia Petrol RS model sometimes does not stop with brake pedal not pushing down when pressed during heavy stop and go traffic situations. I have taken this to garage several times during last 1.5 years since I bought the car. Any advice on diagnosis/solution?|||your question is sort of vague, but ill try my best. if the pedal feels spongy then there is water in your hydrolic system, drain it and refill. if the brakes just completely go out sometimes, then it is definatley the booster or master cylinder (or a vacuum line connecting to the booster) have the parts tested and/or flushed. good luck

Why was the Skoda Octavia voted the best car in Great Britain?

In other words people who bought one were impressed by how well it performed considering how much they paid for it. Obviously there are much better cars around but you have to pay a lot more money.

Interestingly bottom of the survey was Mercedes, as people are shelling out loads of money for them but they are not living up to their expectations. Sadly they aren't what they used to be.|||must be due to sales|||It was voted the "best" from a certain point of view, in that it is the safest (5 stars in crash-impact testing) and with an incredible amount of miles to the gallon, is one of the most efficient.

But we all know that those qualities don't make it a "good" car ;)|||These cars are built under strict build quality as set by Volkswagon. On occasions it has been reported that Skoda's build quality is better than its owners.

The cars are reasonably priced as they are built in a country with lower wage outlay, and the Fabia is a very reasonable all rounder with good reliability and the diesel engine fron VW.

The Scoda crash testing has been succesful too, and Euro ncap report good results.

It is important to note that the Octavia and the Superb are very similar mechanicaly to the Passat, which is more expensive. The Skoda often suffers from a lower spec level, and may not have some extras, and often has lower quality plastics inside.|||i don't know when its obviously not. there are so many other cars that are better value for money and better build quality.|||i love our skoda!!!!!!!! it's a octavia estate looks good and fits in the entire family and dog. back off you car snobs!|||Its a ******** skip, hope your lying

The Fabia and Octavia have been voted best car in the last few years and the UK police use the Octavia as a motorway patrol car....so there must be something in it.

what size alloy will fit my skoda fabia at the moment i have a 14 inch i want to fit a 15 to 17 inch alloy wheel will it be suitable for my car|||The rule of thumb is: for each extra inch of rim diameter (15, 16, 17), add 20 mm to the original tire section width and subtract 10 from the original aspect ratio.

E.g., if your size is 185/60 R 14 (assumption), you might try:

205/50 R 15 or 225/40 R 16.

The speed and load indexes must be at least equal to the original tires.

Use the same (size, make/type, age) tires on each axle, respect the sense of rotation, if applicable, and keep the pressure to the vehicle specs (NOT sidewall pressure!) in all conditions.

Consider also your local laws, need to fit snow chains (bigger sizes usually can't fit chains) and clearance (wheel well, suspension, max. steering angle).

Modern Skoda's are class leaders.|||'Good' does not come in to it. This was made when people made jokes about doubling a Skoda's value when you filled the tank. Actually build quality was not really that bad but certainly the car was very basic and crude, By todays standards the handling was woeful, particularly in the wet. If all your driving was at slow speeds in a city you might ~ just ~ have considered it value for money. You really would not want to be driving one nowadays.|||The Skoda Estelle was excellent value for money, despite the many jokes about them. They were unbeaten in their class in world rallying for a great many years, a feat surpassed only by the Mini!! How much diesel would a Skoda Octavia 2 litre TDI use when idling for 5 mins

TIA

Chris|||Not a lot. Certainly not enough to bother measuring.|||If I was to make an educated guess:

It will do around 60MPG at a constant speed of around 60MPH. There are roughly 4.5 litres in a gallon. 60MPH is 1 mile per minute. The car will use around 75ml of fuel in a minute.

Now idling will use a lot less fuel than doing 60MPH. I would guess it would be 10% of the above figure per minute or 7.5ml. So I would guess the car would use under 40ml of fuel. The rate of fuel use during idling will be higher if the air conditioner is in use while idling or if there is a large electrical drain on the battery (eg headlights and stereo on).

The abs light on my skoda ocatavia is on constantly and is beginning to annoy me has anyone got any ideas?

this could mean various things are wrong with the abs system if the light is on all the time your abs will not be operative.the only way to find out is take it to a garage who will plug it into a diagnostic handheld device, which will read the fault code and tell you what is causing the light to be on.this is normally about 40 pounds. It may just be a sensor that is causing the problem which i have heard is not uncommon with that model.|||You MUST get this looked at by a main dealer (Skoda or Volkswagen).

This light indicates a problem with your braking system. It may be one of several conditions causing it, and if you don't get it sorted very soon you may find that you suffer sudden brake failure.

The anti-lock brake controller is also known as the CAB (Controller Anti-lock Brake).

A typical ABS is composed of a central electronic unit, four speed sensors (one for each wheel), and two or more hydraulic valves on the brake circuit. The electronic unit constantly monitors the rotation speed of each wheel. When it senses that any number of wheels are rotating considerably slower than the others (a condition that will bring it to lock) it moves the valves to decrease the pressure on the braking circuit, effectively reducing the braking force on that wheel. The wheel(s) then turn faster and when they turn too fast, the force is reapplied. This process is repeated continuously, and this causes the characteristic pulsing feel through the brake pedal. A typical anti-lock system can apply and release braking pressure up to 20 times a second|||What do you expect from a skip?|||Get it fixed by a competent mechanic. Its telling you you have a brake problem. Car will fail next MOT if not fixed! Also you insurers may give you grief if you need to claim.|||Sounds like one of the ABS sensors on one of your wheels is faulty or got a loose connection. Get it looked at by a mechanic, does not need to be a skoda garage as any decent mechanic can look at this for you.|||You should get it checked by a Skoda dealer - could be a genuine problem. Is the new Ford mondeo the equivalant of the Skoda octavia?

Or is it better?|||Not quite.

The Octavia is based on the Golf platform, so is closer in size to the Ford Focus saloon and estate. The new Mondeo is much larger.

Also the Octavia's suspension is tuned for comfort, while the Mondeo's is tuned more for driver involvement.|||Skoda is better. And cheaper.|||na because the new scoda is is made out of cake and + fords are more reliable|||if you are talking of the new mondeo that was launched this year then it outstrips the bmw and audi which clearly puts the octavia in its place,i am waiting to take delivery of new mondeo in sept on 57 plate when my car is ready|||i have not driven or worked on the new mondeo yet but from what i have seem and read Ford looked to have lifted their game with this car, i am told that because they no longer have a Granada top of the range large car the mondeo would be improved to such an extent that it would be use as a cross over car good enough to get back their top end customers.

I have a Skoda octavia est i have changed all 4 wheel bairns, tried taking it out of gear. can any1 help? pls?

I have tried taking the car out of gear when moving, but still have the wooing noise. I have changed all 4 wheel bairns. Can any1 pls help?|||Seems like you had the wheel bearings replaced for no good reason.

As someone said, the most likely sorce of noise are the tires. Try to inflate a bit more and see if/how it changes. If that proves to be the cause, learn to live with it until they are worn and then change the tire make/type. You can find many tire test reports where the noise is also evaluated.|||It is probably one or more of the tyres gone out of shape - damaged distorted or no longer round.

This is where you need a proper service garage or tyre depot to assist you - they need to road test the car to find out what is wrong - too expensive to guess just changing wheel bearings for fun is expensive and pointless.|||The noise could be the tires, transmission or the engine, who knows. Take it to the dealer they might know what the problem is, usually you don't need to pay anything for a mechanic to go around the block with you to listen to the noise and track it down.|||Did you try rotating the tyres and wheel alignment?|||wtfs wheel bairns ?

How can i augment ground clearance to a skoda octavia?

Most cars sold in countries with bad roads needing extra ground clearance come with Bad Road Packages. What you need to do is simply increase the ground clearance by installing bushes or using a new set of struts with longer travel. Also you need to stiffen the damper settings to stop it from bottoming out and the coil springs need to be of a more resilient composition like the ones used in High performance springs. Get rid of side skirts and bumper add-ons as they also reduce clearance drastically.|||going down cut the spring coil smaller.

Sometimes in the glove compartment. And sometimes under the hood. If under the hood, usually screwed to a solid location above the wheel well. Also accessible. Open the box (usually a snap open/snap closed). On inside cover of box is diagram of the fuses and they are for and the amp size. Of course, if you had a operation manual, it would indicate exactly where the fuse box is located. Good Luck.

Hi ive got a skoda fabia elegance 2007 new model 1400lt diesel my electric windows not working?

Took it to my local garage he told me the window control unit had gone so looking for a new one at a good price or good second hand one.|||This Happened to my 2003 fabia 1.2 htp at 3yrs old. The dealer fitted me a new one %26amp; advised me to change the other control unit as well. I did not do that and 6 months later it too failed. so instead of one bill to pay i ended up paying twice. also any repair done by the dealer is guaranteed for twelve months and if it fails should be repaired free. I had it done and it never gave me any further problems. I now have a new fabia and the car is wonderful.

I have a skoda octavia and the rev counter and speedo have died?

the rev counter along with speedo and dash warning lights have stopped working. I have checked all fuses they are fine. now in thinking it could be a relay but i have no idea how to test these which one to test or if these are even linked to a relay so as you can see im in a bit of a situation. any help would be great|||cannot be a relay as there are none involved with this. You clearly have limited auto electrical experience. It is something stopping all power getting to the dash instruments and if it happened suddenly it is almost certainly a fuse - check again carefully as they are not always easy to tell if they are blown.

If not the fuse it will be a fault in the wiring or on the printed circuit board that the lights and clocks are attached to. With limited experience this is not a DIY fix so you may just have to replace the whole thing.|||It is a normal fault on the octavia. Why is my skoda dealer a rip off?

my brakes were making a funny noise so i took it into my skoda dealer for a brake check. They told me it needed loads of new parts and would cost me 481 british pounds to fix. What Does vRS Mean In The Skoda Range?

I know this question has been posted before but was talking about this recently and I heard quite a few other rumours as what has already been mentioned of what vRS means.

Any offers|||There are several definitions of what the 'v' means in the Skoda vRS range

Version and Volkswagen are the most popular guesses.

But I have a Fabia vRS and looked on the the Briskoda site.

Apparently Skoda in their early years named one of their cars RS because of its racing pedigree.

Now people think Ford first came out with this logo. When Ford got to hear that Skoda was going to badge their cars RS they took Skoda to court!

Apparently the judge (or whatever) looked into Skodas past racing pedigree and history and indeed did rule in favour in Skoda using the RS logo.

But to just rubs Fords nose in it they put a v in front of the RS.

The 'v' stands for victory. But not for their racing victories but for the victory over Ford in the court case.

If you lose a court case (I think) in the UK then you have to pay the winning parties legal and court costs. Just imagine how much this amounted to?

Specially considering the door mirrors %26amp; the yellowish orange wooden panelling inside the car.|||Hi there,

If you want a Skoda Superb then the best one (in my opinion) is the Edition 100. It was a limited edition to celebrate 100 years of Skoda and was brought out in late 2005. It comes in metallic black and is loaded with toys (leather, sat nav, air con and a cool electric sunroof with built in solar panels). The solar panels are used to charge a small battery and this is used to operate the air con when the car is parked in the sun to keep the car cool! What is the difference between Skoda Octavia & VW Passat?

The Skoda Octavia is a small family car produced by the Czech automaker Skoda Auto since 1996. The Octavia is available in hatchback and estate body styles. A Common misconception is that the Octavia is a saloon due to it's large boot.

The Volkswagen Passat is a family car built by Volkswagen AG, produced in various forms since 1973. It falls between the Volkswagen Golf/Jetta and Phaeton in the current Volkswagen lineup, and is currently produced in Volkswagen's plant in Emden, Germany, as well as Zwickau. Although normally known as the Passat in European and American markets, it has been badged as a variety of other names including Dasher, Santana, Quantum and Crossover in other markets. Its name is short for passatwind, German for "trade wind." While the first generation Passat was a compact car/small family car, the second generation grew in size, so the rest of the Passats are mid-size cars/large family cars.|||The guy above answered the most

Thanks|||The battery light on the dash is there to show that there is a difference between the power output from the alternator and the power draw from the battery.

It is possible that the output of the alternator is below the required level to charge, run and maintain the cars electrics. Do you have any big current draws on the car? For example a high powered CD/radio?

The best thing to do is test the output from the alternator will a multi meter on the terminals of the battery. You should get a reading above 13 volts.

Ja.|||Either it's idling too slowly or the belt is slipping. The light goes off as the engine revs increase, because enough power is being generated by the alternator. Why is it that European automakers such as Peugeot, Renault, Citroen or Skoda to name a few, can't make it to

US? They've prove to have excellent assembly mechanism and they have beautiful designs. Is there a big pushing factor from the Big Three to stop them from gettin here? Thank you.|||Peugeot, Renault and Citroen have all had US dealers but didn't make it. Their cars are a little to offbeat and European for US tastes. There were also reliability and service issues with all of them. Hard to keep up a car when there are only a few dealers in the states and parts may take weeks to months to arrive from Europe.|||Because cars in the US are cheap compared to cars in Europe... so there is not much profit to be made shipping European cars to the US... so the deealerships have to work on small or zero (or negative) margin.

Only the expensive or prestige marques make it to the US... BMW, Mercedes, Volvo... as they work on higher prices they work on bigger margins. Oh and the VW beetle and the Mini 'cos they are so cute.

Plus US markets have very different expectations (eg power steering and aircon and auto boxes) and legal requirements (eg big fenders, red indicators) so the models made for the US have to be custom compared to the European market... it's hard to break into that market as you have to justify making the special features for very small sales to start with. So any company that is there selling well can stay in the market but any company breaking into the market finds it really expensive.

Plus of course the US market really likes big cars and the ones you list are all best known as small car makers!

I have two plastic bits that had dropped off, a white nylon type fitting which obviously goes on the end ot the rod, somehow, and a black plastic bit that has a glue blob on it but no sign of where it goes. Can someone help please with a diagram if poss

Thanks in advance|||The rod from the pedal goes to the clutch Master Cylinder, not the slave cylinder which will be mounted on the transmission. I'd go to a parts store or the dealer and check out a new master cylinder to see how its put together. When putting it back together keep in mind that you need about 4mm of free play or your clutch will not release all the way if there is no free play.

|||Are you saying it's automatic and it is shifting at that point, or the engine is actually cutting power at 3500?

A rev limiter doesn't "start to cut in". A rev limiter simply cuts fuel if you redline a car with a manual transmission. There's no starting to cut in. It's either killing fuel and making you stall out or it's not.

More likely what you are experiencing is the natural limitations of the diesel engine. Diesels don't like to rev high. If you seem to be losing power around 3500 that is about right. Your peak horsepower is right around 3750 RPM on that engine, after that you are just wasting fuel.

If you want more power/acceleration the cheapest and most effective way to do that with a TDI or any turbocharged car is to chip-tune it and get a cold air intake.

I suggest you get an UPsolute chip and a name brand quality cold air intake. You'll be amazed with the results.

What oil do I need for a Skoda?

My handbook says I need VW114 but that's because the car is made by Volkswagen and because that oil is available in the country of manufacture. So can you tell me what the British equivalent is? It's a Skoda Felicia.

Thanks|||Any current 5W-30 (gas engine) 0W-40 (diesel) oil will surpass the requirements for the Felicia. The last model year for the Felicia was in 2001. Hi, i want to know whether the touch screen audio unit of new skoda superb can be installed in the old one?

i have the skoda superb dec 2008. wanted to know whether the superb 2009 touch screen audio unit can be installed in my car?|||No because each one is coded to each individual car,

so if i got to identical skoda's and tried to swap the audio units over they wouldn't work.

What would you suggest about the new skoda laura launched in india two months back?

the car costs 18,00,000 INR.it has a 2.0 litre engine and 140 BHP.pls check out about the car in "www.skoda-auto.in" pls give me all your suggestions for my purchase.|||Skoda makes very good cars, great quality, proven VW components. Good value for the money.|||A Gr8 car...

performance is good..|||it looks horrible!

How does the Skoda Octavia Vrs compare too the police version?

I would like to buy a Vrs some time this year but I've always been curious to know what the difference is between the Vrs you buy and the police version. Does anyone know what the difference is between the two such as power and top speeds? honest and serious answers only please cheers!|||Contrary to popular belief, police cars in the UK are standard production, or lower spec than standard. they are not performance enhanced and never have been.

The standard Octavia VRS will be better equipped than the police version with the same performance.

If you look at many performance police cars, you will see that they come without various extras, like sunroofs for example, they were standard on Cosworth Sierra's, the police cars didn't have them.

The only upgrade in my experience, were the brakes on Volvo T5's, they were bigger in police spec due to the weight they had to carry.

Gibsonessgee (i've got one of them!) Yes police cars are serviced more regular, but having driven them over thirty years, I wouldn't buy one to keep chickens in!|||Police cars are not modified in any way except sometimes they fit a more powerful alternator to run all the extra electrics and bits but other than that just as you can buy them .

Yes police cars are serviced very often but they also have many drivers whom do not give a hoot as to how they drive them ! buy one never ! Just think of all the drunks that may have puked in the back or the flea ridden tramps they may have carried over the years let alone the ones who have peed their pant when they were caught and arrested , buy a ex police car think very careful first !|||With the extra weight, and the aerodynamic issues from the extra lights and signs, will cause the Police model to lose some performance.|||The major difference will be that the cop version will have been serviced more often so if you can buy one at a Police auction do so.|||Not too sure if true but I actually seen a 2.2 Vectra ex-police car for sale which was 190bhp. The same car standard is only 150bhp.

How do i change the front tweeters in Skoda Fabia?

I have changed my stereo and realised the front tweeters are making an awful noise... like there blown? So, i want to either change them or disconnect them? How do I remove the panal in the corner of the door?|||in the main connection you can see 2 small line which written as CPS. remove that from your stereo which make off it.

How do I fix the Tow hook to the front of a Skoda Felica?

Tryong to fix the tow hook to the front off the car. I have the towinb bolt which you screw in to a fixed place on the front of the cat but can not see where the hole is.|||They are all correct, but missing the salient point - its probably a left hand thread.

Most of us would be confused as to why, after finding and removing or opening the plate, then finally finding the thread to connect the tow hook, we cannot get the thread started, this is because its designed with a left handed thread.

I hope this helps|||on more modern cars the the the tow hook anchor point is behind the bumper, look for a little round plastic cap, somewhere on the front bumper, the cap should just pull off|||you should have a plug in the bumper somewhere, ease it out with a screwdriver first. it will be quite low down and obvious when you find it.\|||open your ******* eyes and get off the crack.|||i think you remove a small panel or dummy lamp under the bumper drivers side.|||turn the car around|||the hole is behind a false panel built into bumper just remove this and you will see where it goes.
