What oil do I need for a Skoda?

My handbook says I need VW114 but that's because the car is made by Volkswagen and because that oil is available in the country of manufacture. So can you tell me what the British equivalent is? It's a Skoda Felicia.

Oil specifications keep improving, so you can safely use any brand name oil.|||You could pop into your local Halfords, where you'll find a flip-chart where they keep the oils which will tell you precisely. Nevertheless, any generic 5W-30 should do the trick.
