Is it necessary to change cam belt on skoda octavia sports turbo 03 plate 43,500 miles?

I am buying a skoda vrs sports turbo '03 plate with 43,500 miles on clock, should I change the cam belt. The manual says 60,000 but other people say after 4 years. Thank you|||You can safely wait until 60K|||Go by mileage, we just did our 03 at a touch over 60K miles. Don't forger to change the water pump, it has a plastic impeller and should be changed with the belt.
