How do I adjust the handbrake on a 2002 skoda octavia?

I've replaced the rear discs and pads and now need to adjust the handbrake does anyone know how to do it?|||If you look in between the two front seats you will see a round bar shaped device. If you pull/push on it it adjusts the handbrake up and down!! ;-)|||its a skoda-just let it roll away
